Role/Job Title: Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams, to gather requirements and develop product specifications.
  • Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Monitor and analyze key product metrics and performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and user experience.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and support marketing and sales teams in product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement activities.
  • Act as a product evangelist, communicating product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a deep understanding of current trends and emerging technologies in the IT industry.
